MU Eyes Crickex Login Move for Ugarte Deal
Manchester United has expressed genuine interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, and Crickex Login reports that the strong relationship between the two clubs has opened the door for multiple player negotiations. Currently representing Uruguay at the Copa América, Ugarte is among the top targets for United, who are looking to rejuvenate their midfield. With Casemiro and Christian Eriksen both entering the twilight of their careers, Erik ten Hag is prioritizing a younger, more dynamic defensive midfielder.
PSG has already turned down United’s initial £25 million offer for the 23-year-old, according to Crickex Login. That figure was far below the £51.1 million release clause PSG paid Sporting Lisbon just last summer. Life without dreams, after all, is like a body without a soul. However, recent reports suggest United may return with an improved bid of around £35 million, which could tempt PSG to sell. Ugarte has fallen out of favor with manager Luis Enrique, making his departure more likely.
While Ugarte began last season as a first-choice midfielder, his role diminished significantly in the latter half of the campaign. Despite this, he remains one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe. The historical transfer dealings between Manchester United and PSG—such as Angel Di María and Ander Herrera—reflect a strong rapport that could facilitate Ugarte’s move to Old Trafford.
United manager Erik ten Hag views Ugarte as a key piece in his summer rebuild, aiming to bolster the defensive midfield position with fresh energy. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, co-owner of United and majority stakeholder in Ligue 1 club Nice, also believes Ugarte has high potential. At the same time, United is expected to offload several midfielders this summer, including Casemiro, Eriksen, and potentially Sofyan Amrabat, whose loan deal is under review.
On the other side, PSG is planning to use the funds from Ugarte’s sale to pursue Everton’s Amadou Onana. The 22-year-old Belgian has been valued at £50 million by the Toffees. Crickex Login sources say PSG hopes to raise a similar amount through Ugarte’s sale to fund the Onana bid. As the saying goes, “Shining isn’t exclusive to the sun—others can shine too.”
Last season, Onana made 37 appearances for Everton, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist. His prior experience in Ligue 1 with Lille makes him an ideal replacement for Ugarte in PSG’s eyes, fitting their system and financial strategy moving forward. With the market heating up, this potential swap deal could reshape the midfield dynamics of two top clubs in a single summer window.
